John David started crawling in the middle of October while we were in Colorado visiting Nana. Almost immediately after that he began pulling up on baby gates & furniture but has still not shown any desire to creep along the sofa or anything like that. When Grandma visited us in November, she tried to hold his hands and walk with him but he would just grab her and start jumping up and down....she was his human jumparoo. They sure had a fun time playing together and enjoying each other's company.
We are looking forward to our first Christmas as Mommy & Daddy. Having a little one to share the holidays with is such a blessing.
[gasp!] It just occurred to me this very second that our 8th anniversary is in ten days. Wow! I better hurry up and buy a gift. How do these dates sneak up on me like this?
